The house
Few things, built whole.
Most software is built by people who will never own it — scoped by one company, coded by another, run by a third, sold by a fourth. Every hand-off leaks quality, and nobody's name is on the result. We removed the hand-offs by removing the vendors: there is no client and no agency here. The product is the whole point.
So we hold ourselves to a simple charter: build few things, build them entirely — strategy, engineering, brand, operation — and let each one earn its future. A product we ship is either grown into something durable or sold to an owner who will run it well. What we never do is ship volume.

We answer to the product's P&L, not to a statement of work. If it fails, it fails on us — which is exactly why it is built not to.

Operating model
Two owners. No hand-offs. One product in focus.
Both partners work inside every product — the same people who write the thesis build the system, run it in production and answer for its numbers. Nothing is delegated out of the house, so nothing is lost between decision and execution.

Thesis
Every product starts as a written argument: the problem it prices, the buyer, the number it must earn. Argued against our own capital, most theses die here — cheaply, as they should.

Define
Scope, architecture and the launch standard are fixed in writing before the build. Ambiguity is spent where it is cheap — in the document, not in production.

Engineer
A small senior build in short, visible cycles. Working software every week on real infrastructure — the product exists from the first sprint, and improves in public inside the house.

Launch
A product ships when it meets the standard — observable, recoverable, measured, priced — not when a calendar says so. Launch is controlled, instrumented and reversible.
